A lovely original restaurant, good service, and good food.  It is quite expensive but worth it. We ate the gravalax salad - which was a surprise as in my head I&#39;d imagined smoked salmon and it was raw salmon.  The salmon rillettes were delicious.  The other main was the veal which was superb.

Impeccable!  A delicious Saturday lunch at L&rsquo;Abbaye. The food was thoughtfully conceived making the best of seasonal ingredients and  beautifully presented.  The service was friendly, professional and unostentatious.  We appreciated the atmosphere of multigenerational families enjoying celebratory lunches in the historic Caen stone surroundings.

We&#39;ve been coming to La Suite ever since it opened and have never been disappointed. Today&#39;s meal was particularly delicious and enjoyed by all. It was a first visit for our friends who were full of praise for the quality and inventiveness of the cuisine. Frederick charming as always.
